Since placing new carpets on the floor of a room can make a huge difference in its overall appearance. They add warmth to your floor, and in a simple way
Step 1
Prepare your floors for the new carpet in one go. Nail loose boards to the floor. Find the heating ducts to avoid digging them in.
step 2
Measure and cut the wires the length of each wall. You need to install the wire strips on each side of the doors. Using masonry nails, nail the wires in place 0.32 cm from the wall. Make sure what is sticking out of the wire is facing the walls.
step 3
Cut the filling so that it fits into the wire strips. Reinforces padding about every six inches (15.24 centimetres) for hardwood floors; If you have cement floors, glue the filling down. Cut off the excess. Cover the seams with strips of tape.
Step 4
Cut the rug, leaving a two-inch overlap on all sides. Whenever you need to put the sewing pieces together you want the pile of carpets to always face the same direction. Unless you're installing a curved rug, use a knife to cut along the back of the rug. In this case, cut through the top of the rug.
Step 5
Assuming you have seams, you need to cut the tape to length. You need to put the pieces of carpet against each other. Place the tape with the sticky side up in the middle between the pieces of carpet. Gradually thread the sewing tape through in small sections until you have managed to join them together. Next, press the carpet pieces simultaneously and down onto the tape.
Step 6
Hook the edges of the carpet into the wire with the knee hammer. To do this, press down on the hammer so that the hammer's teeth dig into the carpet about an inch from the wall. Give the kicker a good kick with your knee. This action forces the carpet to get caught in the wires. Do this step on all sides of the rug.
Step 7
Use your knife to cut off the excess of all of the carpets in the room. If you do decide to add handle edges to the doors, do so according to the product instructions. Otherwise, you will need to install a standard size door edge.
