What is roof sheeting
The roof sheathing can be selected from several variants. Each of the variants has its specifics from the point of view of the different physical-technical parameters and demands on its own implementation. The selection of the roof sheathing depends on the specific conditions of the given building

roof sheathing using Panels with trapezoidal profiles

They are the most accessible type for the sheathing of the roof constructions that we use for the sheathing of the roof structures. These panels offer us our own range of surface profiles and color solutions

For roofs with a minimum quantity of 7%, use your own roof panels with surfaces made of missing galvanized sheets, whose thermal insulation belongs to that of the polyurethane foam (PUR) or the mineral wool. The trapezoidal sheet belongs above, the elongated panel contacts are contacts with the overlap of the edge shaft. Only products from reputable companies are used where the long service life belongs

how to protect new roof sheathing from rain

The roof sheeting thickness and the thickness  of the insulation in the PUR panels, which differs from the loss on the thermal insulation properties, in the mineral panels differ as standard about 150 to 200 mm, due to the heat permeability. The panel roof covering is led with the ridge,… gable edging sheets…, of the connection and sealing material. It becomes the semicircular hanging gutter on the gutter iron or the slope-free, angular hanging gutter, which becomes an aesthetic roof edging

roof sheathing with Panels with PVC film

They are used in roof structures with the minimum slope, demanding on the thermal insulation properties
For roofs with a low pitch, the light roof panels are used, the upper surface of which is made up of the hydro-insulating film, the thermal insulation of the PUR foam, and the lower surface is then painted trapezoidal sheet. They are placed on the trusses

The advantage of roofs with a low slope is that they usually do not have gutters. The wall covering with the minimally 150 mm high parapet exceeds the edge of the roof covering and in the roof only the rain inlets are carried out in the inner waste pipeline
The system inlets are melted directly onto the cover film. The roof fillets between the roofs are also eliminated, the connection of the roof cladding to the openings for the skylights and installation openings is hereby considerably simplified, which contributes to the functional reliability of these roofs

Folded / composite coat

These are mainly used for roofs with a low slope and increased fire resistance. They are summarized from the supporting part that forms the trapezoidal supporting plates, further from the parts that ensure the heat and fire insulation and finally from the hydro-insulating film, the asphalt shingles

Composition consists of the following parts

Trapezoidal support plate
Vapor barrier
Insulating layer sequence (also ensures the fire resistance of the composition)
Hydro-insulating film

Jacket without thermal insulation

The trapezoidal sheet is used for the roof covering of the objects, without requirements on the heat-insulating properties. This system is mainly used for warehouse objects in industry and agriculture

The trapezoidal roof sheets are rolled from galvanized sheets and have a colored surface treatment. The color solution can be selected from the wide range of tones span

The material you use on your roof must have a span

. A margin rating is stamped on each piece of material you buy. Typically, these materials are either plywood  sheeting or OSB (Oriented Strand Board) boards that are purchased in 4 x 8 foot boards. The required span is influenced by the distance of your rafters or roof beams
The wider the distance between your rafters, the thicker your material must be, since thicker material has a wider span. The range evaluation is written in 2 numbers like 24/16. The first number indicates how wide the span can be on a roof and the second number indicates how wide the span can be on a floor

Deciding on the material to be used

Measure the distance or span between the centers of your rafters. This is the number you will be looking for when you buy the materials for your roof. Check the margin rating on the material to make sure it is made to at least cover the margin you are working with. Only use materials that are intended for outdoor use on a roof

If you use the right sheeting materials and the right roof sheeting thickness, a solid, long-lasting application is guaranteed
